On Saturday, February 21, we had Marcus's birthday party at The Phoenix Zoo. It was a lot of fun to see Marcus interact with his friends. Although it was a little hectic, I think the guests had a great time. The party started off with coloring in animal masks. The party then moved onto cake and ice cream. (The cake was pretty tasty!) Then Marcus opened his presents. He got a lot of "Cars" toys, a few puzzles, sandbox toys, and some books. After opening presents, Marcus and his guests went to an Animal Discovery session. There they met a tree frog, a spotted lizard, a hedgehog, a turtle and a ferret. The kids were allowed to pet the turtle and the ferret. It was really a neat experience.
