On Sunday afternoon, my mom and I took the kids down to Chase Field to watch the Diamondbacks. Sundays are dedicated to kids at Chase Field, which basically means that kids run the show. They get to announce the players, they run out to the field with a player, they sing the National Anthem, they throw out the first pitch and they get a cool give-a-way item. This Sunday is was a Webkinz dog. Marcus was really excited to get the little pup, since he already has the big sized pup. I think he wants to name this one "Hic-cups" too.
They really enjoyed the game with me and Grandma. We got to take advantage of the new value priced items... 1.50 for a small popcorn and 1.50 for a milk. YAY!
Since we got to the field so early, we were able to watch them open the roof. It made for a really nice day at the 'ole ballgame. Go Diamondbacks!!
