As soon as we arrived to the cafeteria the preschool kids welcomed Marcus. "Hello, Marcus!" they said as we took a place at the table. The kids seemed to have remembered him visiting their class a few months ago. It was really neat to see the kids come over to him and say "hello," and ask him to sit by them.
Emily ran right over to Marcus and pointed out that she and he were wearing the same color shirt.
We waited anxiously as the Easter Bunny was coming for a visit. Of course Marcus and Kalli were not too fond of the jumping rabbit. We sat away from the bunny and let the other kids sit on his lap. The cafeteria staff was so sweet... they gave each little kid a bag full of Easter goodies. Even Kalli got one!
Marcus jumped in the preschool photo that was taken with the Easter Bunny. At least he got close enough for a picture.
After visiting with the Easter Bunny, we headed to the preschool classroom. In the morning the preschool kids colored eggs. We missed decorating eggs with the class, but were able to take part in the egg hunt which was being held on the playground. Marcus and Kalli each walked away with two eggs filled with jelly beans.
Marcus and Emily help Mrs. Mitchell find the eggs that belong to all the kids.
Marcus holding Emily's hand before heading out to look for eggs. (don't tell Joey!)
Kalli had some help in finding eggs from one of the little girls in the class.
Kalli liked playing in the little house that was in the playground.
Marcus found quite a few eggs, but ended up giving them away to Emily.
Marcus is excited that he will be in preschool next year and can take part in all of the holiday parties.
