The day after Christmas we got up bright and early to head to Rifle, Colorado to visit Great Granddad and Great Grandmother. We started on the road just before 6am. The kids were tucked into their car seats and on our way. Thankfully we have a DVD player in the car that occupied the kids nicely. We had a few stops on the way, but still made really time. The drive was beautiful. I always love that part. We had a nice caravan too! Grammie and Bumpa in one car, John and Jackie in their car and then us. We met Great Granddad and Great Grandmother for dinner in Grand Junction before heading into Rifle (which is about 40 minutes away).
