On Friday I got the call from Marcus' pre-school that makes every mom worry.... "Um, your son fell on the playground and is limping pretty bad. Yes, you should get over here now. "Luckily his pre-school is just next door, so I literally RAN over to his classroom to find him sitting on a chair with his foot propped up. He said it was really sore and wouldn't even walk. I picked him up, found two people to cover my last two classes and took him to Urgent Care. My mom was in the area, so she met us there. Aunt Kelly was also in the area and rushed over to see her lil Cuse-man.
Marcus was really brave once we got to the examination room. He helped the nurse find his heartbeat and blood pressure. He sat real still for the Xray, which ended up showing a small break in his left foot.
The doctor came back in to wrap up his foot in a splint. He was real brave the whole time....we were really proud of him.
We will need to go to another Dr. on Wednesday to see what they will do for him. Sadly, that night he was supposed to start his first soccer season. Maybe next year, buddy!

Getting his foot wrapped up.

See, it doesn't hurt!

Here's my broken foot!

Popsicles with Kalli for being so brave at the Dr.'s office.
