When we landed in Denver the temperature gage said 58 degrees!!! HEAVEN! We got into our rental car that Beau left for us at the airport and headed to the Haefner's. Amy (Powell) Haefner and I have been friends since middle school. We were in each other's weddings and both have little kids. Her son, Andrew, will be two in September. We arrived at their house and quickly got on jeans and jackets. Marcus and Kalli took a nap while Randy and I caught up with Amy and Andrew. Jeff was working. When he came home from working he brought beer and wine. We sat on their patio and watched the kids play while we chatted and drank some beer. We had great burgers for dinner and brownies for dessert. It was really nice to hang out with Amy and Jeff. The kids got along great.
